Michael Au-Mullaney, PhD

I am a philosophy researcher and college instructor based in Chattanooga, TN. I received my PhD in Philosophy from Fordham University in February of 2026, where I wrote a dissertation on conceptions of neighborly love in the work of Søren Kierkegaard and K.E. Løgstrup. My research is on topics in 19th-20th Century European philosophy, ethics and moral psychology, theories of the emotions, and the philosophy of religion.
